Warrior [Bugs] Mega Thread

I have gathered all the bugs i can confirm right now myself, i will be adding additional ones when i'll be able to confirm them:

  • [Spell][Warrior] Deep Wounds #4732

Description: Deep wounds should make warriors critical strikes cause the opponent to bleed, causing 60% of average melee damage over 12 sec.


Current behaviour: Does not procc of all warrior critical attacks which it should. Currently it doesnt procc off Whirlwind, Hamstring or Pummel that I've found
Expected behaviour: Should be procced of all warrior critical melee abilities and attacks.

  • [Warrior] Auto-attack sometimes stop working in pvp #4660

Experienced it on battlegrounds and world pvp. I have hamstring macro with /startattack and sometimes AA stop working completly. During AA shutdown i can apply hamstring (it's mean i'm in range and this alone should initiate auto-attacks) and enemy can auto-attack me. When i die and respawn everything working again.

Whirlwind spell critical strikes.
Current behaviour:

Only 20% of rage should be spend when ability miss. It worked this way since vanilla.

@ 1:54 he went from 29 rage to 27 when his heroic strike missed warlock.
Heroic strike cost 15 rage * 0.2 = 3. He either had imp. heroic strike (12 rage = 2.4) or gained 1 rage from anger management talent (he does have it).

White hit should give full amount of rage even if it gets parried or dodged or blocked. It's a well known fact.

in a fight vs rogue all his attacks (except overpower) dodged or parried and he still gains 20+ rage each time it happens.

Should be high prio, since it affects leveling\pvp. Also this: #3635

Description:
15 Rage
Attempt to finish off a wounded foe, causing [X + AP * 0.2] damage and converting each extra point of rage into Y additional damage (up to a maximum cost of 30 rage). Only usable on enemies that have less than 20% health.

Current behaviour:
Execute in some scenarios isn't doing anything:

  • [Core Mechanic][Warrior]Whirlwind dodges doesn't trigger Overpower #4290

Description: whirlwind strikes nearby 4 foes
Current behaviour: strikes 4 mobs but if mobs dodge u cant use overpower proc on them
Expected behaviour: should be able to use overpower proc on mobs that dodge whirlwind strike

The auto attack bug effects all melee and is something to do with targetting afaik, untarget and re-target usually fixes this. Also the execute bug you listed has been posted as fixed in the change log

Other than that, nice idea for a thread :)

Sweeping strikes bugged - 

Attacks made right before it expires do not sweep

Attacks made right before activating it do sweep

Assuming broken due to spell batching .

 

Devastate bugged -

Mobs are able to dodge the "sunder armor" effect even when the ability lands, as though it's coded as two consecutive blows (1 with damage 1 with debuff) instead of one ability.

 

Demo Shout bugged -

Generates 0 threat, which makes it basically impossible to keep large packs (ie. 10+ nonelite mobs) from aggroing onto the healer. Should be possible to pick up and aoe tank zerg packs by spamming demo shout.

Also cleave range is messed up, bugged to be too low - mobs are close enough to melee me and have me melee them back, but at this max range cleave doesn't chain onto them.

They finally fixed both. Not sure about gaining rage on block, only dodge\parry mentioned in changelog.

Need retest.
